New question

Build a question step by step, with AI beside you if you want it.

The question builder is for questions you want to build, save and reuse, without writing SQL.

The question builder showing a data source, a list of tables and starter questions
New question: pick your data, then filter, summarize and draw it as a chart.

Build one

Pick data. Choose a database and a table, or start from a saved metric. All sources (join across) builds a question across databases.

Filter and summarize. Add filters, group by columns and choose what to count or sum. Each step is numbered, so you can see what the question does.

Visualize. Bhoral suggests a chart from the shape of your data. See Visualizations.

Save the question into a collection. View SQL shows the generated query.

With AI

  • Describe a change in the box on the left and review a suggestion. You choose whether to apply it, and you can undo it.
  • Explain with AI describes what the question does in words.

The AI sees table and column names, never your data, and a suggestion is checked against the real compiler and your access rules before you can apply it.
